what we do.

Anazao was established to respond to the need to help the underprivileged around the world. Those that are suffering due to extreme poverty causing hunger, child mortality, maternal deaths, lack of safe water & sanitation, no basic education, gender inequality, death & disabilatating diseases, with no community based environmental & economic sustainability.

The United Nations have called on governments and the corporate world to rise to the challenge of meeting eight Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). These range from halving extreme poverty to halting the spread of HIV/AIDS and providing universal primary education, all by a target date of 2015. They have galvanized unprecedented efforts from the governments of over 190 countries to meet the needs of the world’s poorest. Despite this unprecedented effort there has only been modest progress in meeting the world’s poorest needs.

Future generations will find it hard to explain how, in 2009, the world had never been more prosperous or more technologically advanced, had never grown so much food or understood diet and health better, yet could still allow more 820 million people to go to bed hungry every night.

Anazao intends to make a difference with the help of sponsoring individuals and organisations:
