Word of Life Church & Pastor Bosco

Pastor Bosco founded Word of Life Ministries in 2013. Born into a Catholic family in Uganda, Pastor Bosco's life took a profound turn when he encountered a revival in his country in the early 1990s. This spiritual awakening deeply impacted his community, influencing even the way children were named, with names reflecting the newfound faith.

Tumuhimbise's journey of faith began in 1994 when he accepted Christ into his life. His given name, "Tumuhimbise," meaning "let us praise him," foreshadowed his future calling in ministry. As he embraced Christianity, Tumuhimbise found himself drawn to music, a passion that would eventually become intertwined with his spiritual journey

What will we be doing?

Our Mission Schedule: April 24th - May 7th, 2024

Here's what's in store during our time in Uganda:

April 25th: Casual gathering at Word of Life Church to kick things off.
April 26th-27th: Seminars for deepening faith and knowledge.
April 28th: Sunday service for worship and fellowship.
April 29th - May 3rd: Door-to-door evangelism and community outreach.
May 4th: Follow-up and continued outreach efforts.
May 5th: Sunday service and evening praise and worship.
May 6th: Rest day, with time to interact and share ideas with Bosco and his community.
May 7th: Departure.

Who are the team?

Tim Cole

Tim is one of the Trustees / Directors of Anazao. He has a background in both business and full time Christian Ministry. Tim will be leading worship and speaking.

Phil Morrow

Phil has been a solider, police officer, prison officer and full time evangelist. He will be preaching, teaching and carrying out one to one evangelism.

How can you help us?

Prayer Support

We believe in the power of prayer and we really value your intercessory support. Before, during and after the mission there are number of things we would really appreciate prayer for:

That God will move powerfully and touch the lives of people through the seminars, services and outreach
That many people would hear the gospel message and be moved to respond
For the safety and health of the team, especially as they travel
For the provision of finance

Financial Support

We're looking to help Word of Life Church purchase some additional equipment to use both for this mission and for the ongoing worship services and other events:

Keyboard - approximately £250
Mixer Amp - approximately £200
Bass Speaker - approximately £165
Microphones - approximately £90

We've had two guitars donated to us that we will take and leave with Pastor Bosco. We'd like to get hard cases for those at around £100 each so we can safely take them on the plane and so they can be kept safely at the church
