Anazao is a data controller under the definitions set out in the European Union General Data Privacy Regulations (GDPR). We have conducted an information audit to assess what data we hold, where it is stored and how it is used. We obtain and store personally identifiable data for which we obtain consent. The data we collect, store and process includes:
- Names and addresses of donors who are UK tax payers. These are collected with the consent of the individual named in the data by online form or hard copy. These hard copies are stored securely at our registered office and we also store a copy electronical. This data is used only to facilitate Gift Aid claims.
- Names and amounts donated are stored electronically as part of our finincial records. This data is obtain via the individuals concerned and from our bank account.
- We store names, email addresses and addresses of those who have specifically opted into recieving communications from us. Consent is obtained when we request this data as part of our online forms.
- We store names, email addresses and addresses electronically in payment processing systems including Stripe and Paypal. The data in these systems has been submitted by the indivual identified in the data as part of an online dontation. This data is not used for any other purpose.
- We store names, email addresses and addresses of the individuals and organisations we work with as part of projects we sponsor. This data is used to ensure we are meeting obligations in terms of financial accountability, child protection and other legal obligations.

Right of access
If you want to know what data we have stored in relation to you and your business please contact us by emailing hello@anazao.org.uk. We will provide you with a full copy within 28 days but will usually aim to do this much faster.
Right to rectification and data quality

Right to erasure including retention and disposal

Right to restrict processing
You can exercise your right to restrict processing by opting out of marketing communications by using the links provided in marketing emails and / or by emailing us with your request.
Right to data portability
You can obtain a copy of your data from us by emailing hello@anazao.org.uk. We will provide you with CSV files containing the data we hold on you along with any additional documents where applicable.

Rights related to automated decision making including profiling
Anazao does not currently carry out any automated decision making or profiling.
