We are partnering with the Methodist Mission Agricultural Project (MMAP) in Brikama to strengthen fruit and vegetable postharvest handling, processing, and training.
‘sunny climate means that many crops can be grown… but these products come in gluts and irrigation is a basic need.”
To address this, Anazao has funded essential equipment to establish a central fruit‑packing and processing facility, enabling the farm to buy, process, and market locally grown produce more effectively.
Our Support Includes the purchase of:
Freezers, refrigerators, grinders, and blenders
Fruit‑drying oven, boiling pots, and plastic crates
Containers, jars, bottles, and packaging materials
Solar driers and a range of processing tools
MMAP aims to demonstrate the value of proper postharvest handling and will deliver training to at least 100 growers and stakeholders, helping build skills, reduce waste, and improve livelihoods
